"If you like watching out-of-shape people and strippers and cellphone salesmen fall down a lot, then "Wipeout" could stand as your own very special fetish pornography"
New York Times July 8, 2008
The last time I worked on a stunt show with Matt Kunitz(Fear Factor '01), it landed him in the bestseller, "100 People Who Are Screwing Up America".
Put the kids to bed and watch fetish porn tonight (Tues 8 July), 8 PM, on ABC.
Update: LA Sheriff Invade Malibu, Take Sides with Surfers
Following on the heels of Ace Ventura's goofy flavor of Malibu paparazzi war story, another CHIMP.net reader checking in from the 'bu, sent in this first hand account of a military invasion today.

Today (July 5th) the Sheriff was called in to enforce the private beach boundry at the Colony. At least 20 paps were hanging out waiting, probably for another shot of Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy. The Sheriffs came in full force including a boat, helicopter and at least 6 officers. The paps were told that the private beach extends to the "mean tide." This essentially means they can't be where the sand is dry. They were all forced to stand in the water.
There's a joke swimming around in here about paps wading in the shallow end, but the brain is still at the jersey shore playing video games and the empty weekend head cant find it yet.
Live on Scene: Jim Carey Treats Paparazzi by Wearing Jenny McCarthy's Women's Bathing Suit

A CHIMP.net reader in Malibu sent in this unusual sighting yesterday (Friday 4 July)
In Malibu for the 4th and Jim Carrey decided to give a treat to the 20 paparazzi that had been hanging around all day. He came out in Jenny McCarthy's bathing suit, walked straight to the photographers, never cracked a smile, turned around and went back inside. It is clearly a symbiotic relationship that he has with the paparazzi, because as soon as he put on his performance they all packed up and left.

It's a new record.Thank you for being one of the 48, 933 unique visitors to TheCHIMP.net in June. That's like selling out Madison Square Garden (Knicks/Rangers 'current) and The Staples Center(Lakers/Clippers/Kings 'current) at the same time, with a line of 5,000 people outside each.
453% growth since May - economists state the results are directly proportional to gas prices - you're staying home bored on the internet. The most popular stories revolved around celebrities acting like teenagers -- working second jobs or writing graffiti.
Big high fives to the those who stumbled in via the twitter feed (CBS' The Insider & E! - both new followers) and those co-bloggers who linked to the site.
