50 Cent became famous when he encouraged everyone to “party like its thier birthday” on “In Da Club”. On Jim Carrey’s 47th (Sat 17 Jan), he jumped up on stage at the Vitamin Water 50 Cent Sundance House to surprise the crowd of 150 lucky invitees.

50 Looked Down from the balcony to do a personal roll call of the celebs he could see looking up at him. “I see Wesley Snipes….Kim Kar–, ALL the Kardashians, Russell Simmons….”

He performed like DJ AM DJ’s. Verse - Chorus - On to the next song and he ran though about 10-11 songs in 35 minutes. This is the best I could blackberry:

At the end, 50 pulled an old Michael Jackson move. He told DJ Whoo Kid to keep the music playing and baited the crowd. “Hold on, I’m coming downstairs.” Everyone waited for minutes, as 50 snuck out a back door and whisked away before people realized the show was over.

Verdict: Winner of Sundance 2009.
