It’s good news! I’m a draft pick…Sharon Waxman’s (NY Times, Washington Post) Hollywood news outlet TheWRAP.com has tapped me to temporarily step in and take over the popular “Hollywood Party Report” column. (Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz funds the venture, and thus I’ll be making “starbucks money“.)

Khloe Kardashian (E! Show ‘08, Celeb Apprentice ‘09) and Duet PR hosted cocktails and fashion for an NYC crowd with a 3:1 girl to guy ratio at Fred Segal-alike boutique Live! on Sunset on Tuesday (30 June).

Khloe Kardashian proclaimed herself long time fans of twins Kym & Alexis McClay (Naven) and Debbie and Rebecca Moradzaden (Boulee).

Breaking: Hosts Nicky & Suzie DeFosset (Michigan '03) are featured in the upcoming Bruno movie. (July 10) Yup, the blonde twins a're going to be famous in 7 days.

Not everyone came camera ready. But everyone ate Chin Chin, enjoyed mini bottle of champagne, and drank the bar dry. (They had to run out for more vodka.)

Steve Aoki (UCSB’99) and Jordy Masterson (next in the prodigy of DJ’ing masterson brothers), brought monday music to the upscale Sunset Tower Hotel (Home of Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party ‘09) to usher in Cinco de Mayo eve last night. (Mon 4 May) The party: LG and Teen.com’s “Haute and Bothered” Gossip Girl ‘esque series.

Two Lohan sisters  - Lindsay (23) and Ali (15) were the last celebs to arrive around 10:55 PM, Ali representing the only actual “teen” at the “teen.com” party.  Meanwhile, we waited patiently with America’s first crack at Is Vodka (pronouned ICE and given away liberally at the open bar) currently only available in LA and Las Vegas. I then took a 2nd-7th crack at it.  No glasses or drinking anywhere near the Lohan booth.

Other celebrities checking out the Teen.com show included Adam Rodriguez (CSI-NY), Chris Masterson,  Lisa Loeb, Samaire Armstrong, and Taryn Manning who hung with the wave-making celebrity interviewer Michelle Marie and considered leaving to go the Nylon/Myspace party over at the Roosevelt.

So you think 2009 has sucked because of the recession? Agreed. The drought of entertainment marketing events broke with 7 major events on the same Thursday night (30 Apr).

Holly Montag (The Hills) was by far the most popular person at the event. Here, Cory Podell (Life & Style) and Lauren Magboo (EFG PR) fend off a gaggle of other reporters waiting patiently to ask her about her newlywed sister.

The always smart EFG PR team beat the rush by kicking off early at 6 PM. Catch Boutique - a unique online shopping experience that lets you video chat with a personal stylist while you shop - took over a new event space called “Mark” sandwiched near Factor’s and “Shavuot” signs in the super Jewish neighborhood on Pico.

Vanessa Minillo and Jaime Pressly (Fedora and glasses inside) also sampled the comp manicures, hairstyling, and a cupcake tower.

At 8PM The Dona Daneshi Fashion show “I am Mystic” took over the penthouse of the Chateau Marmont.

Hostess Siri Garber (LA Magazine's publicist of the year '04) surprised the crowd by emerging with a parrot on her shoulder when the fashion show was delayed a few minutes. Effective warm up act!

Each brave model walked with a parrot (parakeet?) to a live windchime soundtrack -- it's awesome when an event breaks the mold.

From the Chateau rooftop, we could literally see the flashbulbs of the LA Confidential May/June Issue release party at XIV a few hundred yards away (Lisa Rinna, Molly Simms, and Gene Simmons showed), but President Bill Clinton recrutied the most formal crowd to the Hollywood Roosevelt. Jessica Alba, Adrien “Vinny Chase” Grenier, Office Co-workers B.J. Novak (Ryan) + Ed Helms (Andy Bernard), Zach Braff, Will.i.Am, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Don Cheadle supported Clinton’s “Millenium Network”.

Meanwhile in Santa Monica, Linday Lohan launched a new fragrance at Sephora while Karina Smirnoff had some vaguely film related something called “Dreams of India”, Monster Energy Drink  supported “Music Saves Lives” @ The Key Club (Perez Hilton, Aubery O’ Day). A traditional mega event, the Star Trek premiere swept up every other celebrity in the world, with a warehouse after party that was still going at 2:25 AM.

And if you werent convinced that last night was the night to be out, our own network @Celebsightings on twitter had spotters texting in Courtney Cox with a sixpack of girlfriends at dinner in Studio City while Victoria Beckham and Lauren Conrad sat a few tables away from each other in Brentwood.

T-Mobile celebrated Coachella and their G1 phone with the 2nd annual “Tone Def” after party in an airplane hangar near the Coachella grounds on Saturday night (18 April).  Even though its only April, this is likely to win “most fun event of the year“, just like the 2008 edition.  Tweeted the numerous Sightings on site…now the photos.
