Now we know what all those paparazzi flash bulbs were last night.  Sneaker co K-Swiss hosted a private dinner party at Hollywood haunt Chateau Marmont to celebrate the launch of their Remastered “Classic” shoe last night. The evening introduced Hollywood’s hot new “classic” tastemakers and celebrities to the new footwear collection, which was originally launched in 1966.  (When their parents were in high school).

Guests included:  Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, Jessica Stroup, Katie Cassidy, Lo Bosworth, Topher Grace, Shoshana Bush, Alison Brie, Leven Rambin, and socialite Carlos Lopez.

Was lucky (appropriate?) to attend the Michael Jackson Memorial inside Staples Center in Los Angeles yesterday. (Tuesday 7 July).

E! Personality Marc Malkin told me on site: "This is more media than the Oscars"

A friend outside Staples: Of the 10,000 or so loiterers without tickets, more than half were selling just selling stuff.

Took only 6 minutes end to end to pick up my winning tickets at Dodger Stadium to the Michael Jackson Memorial Service tomorrow (Tues 7 July).  Organized! Easy! Never had to get out of the car.

"Do Not Mutilate, Stretch, or Remove this Wristband". The guest wristband is just handed to you.

After waving your voucher at 2 lines of police on the restricted approach to Dodger Stadium, the toll booth scans your pass, marks it with a big black X, and directs you to rental car return style coned lanes in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium.

There was no reason given why I got 2 in Staples Center instead of the overflow Nokia Theatre.
