The Intern Show: Parc Edition

(If a photo slideshow does not appear above, only white space, click here)

We continue to celebrate April as "call-rollers' month":
Rapparound PR interns Ali Lewinter (CYJ Daled '01, Westboro HS (MA) '04, Ithaca '08) and Melissa Peterson (HenHud H.S. (NY) '04, Ithaca '08) aced their "live fire" combat exercises at (white)hotspot/client Parc and Les Deux last night. (Thur 4.19). They apparently carry more cache than a CBS star.

To honor the occasion, Rumer Willis (videotaped at birth in Demi's hoo-hah '88) showed with 6 friends (inside) and 11 friends (paparazzi) waiting patiently outside. The girls from luxury drink Motley Bird field tested their drink with multiple bottles at Les Deux, Nefarious Designs' Jason Hoehn channeled Sanjaya and debuted a stark, short coif, and manager Phil Viardo shared the good news that our friends at Hollyscoop.com signed with CAA.

Not to be outdone, industry speculation suggests that Lewinter and Peterson will be tapped as the founding editors of the highly anticipated campus gossip blog "Ithacandy.com" coming to Ithaca College's media market this fall.

The Class of October 2006

From the mouth of Criminal Mike:
What do two producers from LA do when they get tired of making reality TV shows? Pack up, leave their apartments on Sunset Blvd vacant, and move into their friend’s living room on South Beach and matriculate in bartending school. Neither intend to actually bartend, but this was the only productive daytime activity they could imagine

Bobby P. and I sacrificed 5 hours a day of beach patrol for 2 weeks to pass our final exams: "Make me a Cosmo, 2 kamikaze shots, and a roasted toasted almond....1 kool-aid shot..etc"

Add a new credit on to our list of Academic Achievements .... Deerfield .. Syracuse .. MTV .. Congress .. Jackass .. Executive Producers .. Production Company founder...and ABC Bartending '06
As always, the best part of any school? The graduation party!

A produced sunset pool party, we enjoyed VIP attendance with Gonzalo (Sharon, MA H.S. '93, Syracuse '97, MTV Bus Development 'current) and Rappa flying in from the west coast.
Whitney Valins (Tampa Prep '02, Cornell '06, Miami Med School '10) chose this special occasion to make her overdue South Beach debut. (Pictured Right) Tampa Prep's headmaster is ex-Deefield faculty member Gordon McLeod

Gold Digger - LIVE

This is way overdue, but still GOLD (literally).

After the World Night Club Awards at Nocturnal (Tao won), Marc Jay's self emblazoned 45 foot bus designed like a VIP lounge, and a DKNY swimwear party at the Victor , we climbed in to a table, on the Mansion stage, for "DJ AM vs. Mark Ronson". It was listening, viewing, and screaming in to each others' ears for the next 3 hours.

In the mix were a pair of Williams sisters and 1 Bustah Rhymes. The night went from heavy star power to near "cosmic-convergence" when AM hit Kanye West’s catalogue hit that will still be a favorite years from now…

Gold Digger, the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Rap Song of the Year, with these marquee lyrics that came to life right in front of us:

“have you seen her
My psychic told me she have a ass like Serena...

It take too much to touch her
From what I heard she got a baby by Busta...”

At this moment, the 2 leaned over and high fived, acknowledging their pre-recorded shout outs.

Adding another weird twist to the US Weekly-ness of the moment, Bustah then spent the rest of the night nodding his head in agreement to AM’s set from 5 feet away. Uhhhh, does anyone else remember Bustah’s public bragging and trashing about sleeping with Nicole Richie – AM’s sometimes fiancé/sometimes girlfried/sometimes after-dinner toothpick??

Guess AM and Bustah are sorta cool now... and for the record, any of our beef with either is also squashed after this summit of pop-hip hop's greatest aficionados.
