Update: LA Sheriff Invade Malibu, Take Sides with Surfers
Following on the heels of Ace Ventura's goofy flavor of Malibu paparazzi war story, another CHIMP.net reader checking in from the 'bu, sent in this first hand account of a military invasion today.

There's a joke swimming around in here about paps wading in the shallow end, but the brain is still at the jersey shore playing video games and the empty weekend head cant find it yet.

Click to enlarge - great resolutionToday (July 5th) the Sheriff was called in to enforce the private beach boundry at the Colony. At least 20 paps were hanging out waiting, probably for another shot of Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy. The Sheriffs came in full force including a boat, helicopter and at least 6 officers. The paps were told that the private beach extends to the "mean tide." This essentially means they can't be where the sand is dry. They were all forced to stand in the water.
